Why an interval — not “water weekly”?
A hard rule like “water every Tuesday” fails because soil dries at different speeds: small pots dry fast, big pots linger, and a plant resting in winter simply drinks less. An interval gives you a rhythm, and the finger test (top inch of soil) is the final vote.
